"Practically every one of the top 40 records being played on every radio station in the United States is a communication to the children to take a trip, to cop out, to groove. The psychadelic jackets on the record albums have their own hidden messages and symbols, as well as all the top rock songs... and they all sing the same refrain, 'it's fun to take a trip, put acid in your vein.' "

sometimes i will avoid taking a shit, because i know that the toilet seat is going to be balls-to-the-walls cold. plus i get sick of reading the back of the same old shampoo bottle while im in there. i really should invest in more bathroom products. perhaps then i could read the back of a tube of hair gel. that would be hot.

Got no religion, don’t need no friends
Got all I want and I don’t need to pretend
Don’t try to reach me, ’cause I’d tear up your mind
I’ve seen the future and I’ve left it behind

driving at 3am is such a luxury in this city overflowing with population. the streets are clear, every traffic signal is a green. all the normal rat racers are sleeping pretty in the sound safety of their homes... and on the streets it's just me and the drunks. and the cops, of course. i drive slightly under the speed limit, and inhale smoke while i digest some shitty FM talk radio. it gives me that "down by the dock of the bay" feeling.

the portions of this post written in italics are from the song called Supernaut, written by the musical group called Black Sabbath.
